Smart Home Essentials is SRC Dynamics' starter smart home package in Egypt. We connect your lights, air conditioners, TV, and plugs to Google Home or Amazon Alexa, so you control everything from one app or with your voice — in English or Arabic. Installation typically takes one day, uses your existing wiring and switches wherever possible, and every setup is designed around how your family actually lives, not a fixed catalog.

What is a basic smart home?
A basic smart home replaces everyday manual actions — flipping switches, hunting for remotes, wondering if you left the AC on — with app and voice control through an ecosystem like Google Home or Amazon Alexa. In practice, this means three things:
Control from anywhere. Your lights, ACs, TV, and plugs appear in one app on your phone. Left home and forgot the AC? Turn it off from work.
Voice control that speaks your language. "Hey Google, turn off the living room" or "Alexa, good night" — both assistants understand English, and Google Assistant handles Arabic commands as well.
Simple automations. Lights that turn on at sunset. ACs that shut off when you leave. A single "Movie Night" command that dims the lights and turns on the TV.

Using Amazon Alexa
The app: all devices grouped by room in the Alexa app, with one-tap Routines on the home screen.

Routines engine: Alexa's automation builder is slightly more flexible — triggers by time, device state, or even when your phone arrives home.
